The Fairytale Begins....

Jennifer was not destined to "think inside the box" nor be a common artist. Rather her love of detail, woodworking, and painting led her design her own brand of custom children's toy boxes. For years, Gigi has been embellishing common household items and turning them into unique household items. No old piece of furniture is safe from refinishing! Her house is laden with old furniture pieces detailed and manipulated into creative masterpieces. Gigi's workshop is located in Waterford, CT. and operated by Jennifer, who is known by the children in the family as "Auntie Gigi". Now that her children are growing, she is fulfilling her dream of sharing her talent. As Gigi's designs are replicated and shared in many homes, her creative energy never seems to cease as she dreams of new ways to bring imagination into your home.

Toy boxes....

Gigi is a individual artist not an assembly line. Due to the hand-brushed technique used, each piece takes time and is 100% custom. The details of the toy box will be created with the artisan, as each costumer consults with Gigi before the box is made. Consultations may be via phone or email. Before the actual product is shipped out, a picture is sent via email for final approval. If a customer finds that he is not satisfied we at this time rectify the situation. This eliminates virtually all returns.

Classical design and quality construction make these toy boxes the perfect accessory for a child's room and an item to be treasured for years to come.
